growing up..
i've never been to the US before, and here i am applying for a transfer to new york city...! from what i've heard from most people, it sounds like my type of city... buzzing with electricity, great atmosphere, plenty of entertainment, great shopping...
i can't wait till i receive my contract, sign it, and start organising everything...! my big move away from home...
whilst i'm excited to go, i'm also nervous about leaving everything i know behind... i've lived my entire life here in sydney... and i still have my parents taking care of me... i still see myself as a dependent! i guess it's time to grow up - i'm almost a quarter of a century old! i think most people consider themselves as an adult already at this age, but i still feel so young and insecure...
i've always known that i would never grow up staying at home... and that it would be hard for me to leave home and become independent if i stayed in sydney... i wonder if it's the same for most people...?

i used to say when i'm 18 i'll be an adult, then it was when i start working i'll be an adult, then it became when i get married i'll be an adult, now it's when i have kids then i'll truly be an adult!!!
I think going to NY is the best thing that will happen to you. You get to experience new things, meet new ppl and for once fully take on the responsibility of looking after yourself.
It seems dainting but hell, you only live once!! Make the most I say and party hard!!!
