an asian girl's childhood games...

last night, doris and i were chatting away over drinks, when we discovered we shared a similar childhood memory...

when lisa and i were in around 3rd or 4th grade at St Lukes, we used to role play traditional chinese movies during our recess and lunch hours... where we pretended to do martial arts, and special qi gong techniques like removing poison from the other by manipulating the other's circulation, flying by manipulating the use of air, being able to stop the other's movements by marking certain acupunctural points on the body...

i have no idea how we got to talking about this, but doris used to do the same in melbourne with her friend! i wonder, how common is this 'game' amongst other asians? particularly those in a foreign country...
