Vieux Montreal...
Went to Montreal this weekend for easter with 3 other friends... it was a nice trip, away from the city... i managed to see quite a fair bit - but i missed out on the main attraction!! :( and to tell the truth - i'm a little annoyed about it...2 of the guys had already been to montreal a fair number of times, so they weren't particularly interested in seeing La basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal... and they had a sound and light show as well... the other girl and i kinda indicated we really wanted to see it, but we ended up heading out to dinner instead - and by the time the show was scheduled to start, we were still midway through dinner, so we didn't say anything... *sigh* ... but it's not worth going to montreal again...

i hadn't realized how difficult it is to find a good travelling group to go on vacations with... i think i've taken my good vacation buddies for granted in the past.... so, now i'm thinking i may try to travel on my own ... errr... or i might just start trying by going on a chinatown led tour on my own :P hehehe...

it's true... really hard to find good holiday buddies. but then again, i don't think its necessary to always stick as a group. sometimes, when i was travelling, i took half days off as a breather to be totally productive & enjoy every moment. but i guess this depends on what sorta friends you have - whether they would mind or not.
DO NOT go on chinatown tours. they suck.
