my new home...

Woohoo!! I've finally arrived in NYC! - actually, I arrived on October 20th and just haven't had the time to update my blog... I have spent the last 5 days searching for an apartment... and finally found my new home today!! I'm so excited - it's right in the middle of everything! it's tiny, it's expensive - but it's nice and cosy... hehe...

this place is pretty cool - it has free juice and breakfast, a very nice club lounge area with a fireplace and board games, cinema room and activities... and it's only several blocks from work... i've put the application form through, and hopefully, i can move in on Friday!!! (before i start work on monday... bleh..!!)

i've also applied for a savings account - so I'll need to wait for that to be approved... and i also have a mobile phone plan!!! i'm feeling a little bit more settled in now... soon i won't be living out of a suitcase anymore - errr... or 6 suitcases =D hehehe...
